“Common As The Rain” (Herve Mommeja-Marin and Morgan; Durham, NC)

This is of a young Herve and a very young Morgan (both dead in the past two years, Morgan most recently. Who would have thought, in 2010, that he’d outlive Herve by almost 2 years?). I miss them both a great deal….every day, these days. But how much is there to say about that? Common as the rain, in fact.
Thus far, only two folks have asked me “Did you put the heart in there on purpose?”. The title’s taken from one of my favorite, wistful David Wilcox songs (he taught me how to play the guitar, back during summer days in the NC mountains in my twenties). Do yourself a favor, and go to:
