I came across the initial version of this today and decided that I might as well have a go at finishing it. I proved, long ago, that I’m very clever at drawing, but I remain scared of putting water to brush and brush to drawing. I think this worked out okay.
This one is entirely informed by Patrick Gale’s very fine novel, “The Man in the Orange Shirt”, and the equally moving movie made from/of it.
