Now… isn’t this a happy lady? I grew up in Washington County, Tn and, like anyone from that sort of background, know EXACTLY how excited everyone got when Mrs. ______ got her picture in **THE PAPER **(!!!!!)
The True-Tragedy of the business was, of course, that no lady who got a picture of her self and her monster-squash in the paper before labor day would also be able to get it into the county fair. It would rot before then.
Thus are vainglorious dreams born, and thus do they also wither and die…….(it’s all in the bible…just **LOOK IT UP**….)
