Oh, this old boy just found this small drawing/painting. I distinctly recall the morning/circumstances when I made it (a few days after I’d finally realized that there’d be no repairing a marriage with a person so inexplicably unhappy, and so intent on leaving towards nowhere).
That said? It’ a lovely picture. I just don’t need the souvenir. So, I just looked at it and decided to sell it. I know the song (by Tom Kimmel) all too well. Go to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me3R56b_nxQ
“if I fell from grace with you
I’d pray I’d never fall in love again
and if our ships should sail from view
I’d never want to feel another breath of wind
if you lost your faith in me
I don’t know what I’d do
and I’m not sure who I’d be
if I fell from grace with you
and if you turned and walked away
would the world keep turning round
would you hear the words I’d say
somewhere inside the hollow sound
if you never call my name
how could I answer true
if you turned and walked away
and I fell from grace with you
would my life roll on
as if grey were blue
as if right were wrong
or December were June
if I never touched your face
would morning find the light
would the rivers lose their way
or the careless moon forget to rise
if you wandered from this place
would roses know to bloom
and who’d hold me close this way?
if I fell from grace with you”
if I fell from grace with you
I’d pray I’d never fall in love again”
